The farm building provided an excellent location for a large solar panel installation.

For this project in Swythamley, we installed a tailored array of 16 solar panels to capture maximum sunlight throughout the year. The robust mounting system ensures the installation is secure and weather-resistant, while the design maximises efficiency without disrupting farm operations.
Adding Battery Storage Later
After the initial solar installation, the farmer decided to add a battery storage system. This staged approach allowed them to spread the cost of the project while still gaining immediate benefits from solar power.
The battery storage now enables the farm to store excess energy generated during the day and use it during the evening or at times of higher demand. This upgrade increases the farm’s energy independence and improves protection against rising energy prices.
